First I want to say thank you for all the kind emails and calls about the newsletter; I am loving the feedback! It’s good to know that you are reading it and enjoying it as well. As I have always said at the end of each class “please stay in touch”, I love to hear from you, so keep it up.
February is the month of LOVE and one of my favorite months. I had an esthetician this week contact me inquiring about the class and said she was interested because she was looking to “add a little love into her practice”. That’s funny because I remember a few years back when I was putting together the website and writing all the content I mentioned LOVE quite a few times, which was totally “normal” to me. But, when my husband (with his sweet, analytical, Electrical Engineer type brain), was reviewing/editing it and he told me that he thought using the word love was a little “goofy”. (Yes, he actually said that). Although I was slightly hurt, I understood it too because he is not in our world of touch and care, where love is a very important part of what we do. If we do not love what we do, we will burn out and not last. Also, if we do not love our clients, they will know it and they will not come back. After working with the oncology client for almost 9 years now, I believe what we offer in every service IS “love” especially for those that are hurting and in need of our services. And the best part is that It not only impacts their lives; it changes ours as well.
Thank you for being in the “LOVE” business with me!
